February is already upon us and it seems like the year just started. I remind all my friends and customers I have met and have done business with over the years that the deadline for the Florida Realtors Essay contests for the $28,000 State scholarship is February 9th 2011. If you have a high school senior that is planning on going to college at a Florida university get them to go to www.FloridaRealtors.org and go to the lower right hand side of the site and get the details on submitting an essay. They can qualify for a $1000 scholarship from our district as well as one of the (3) $5000 scholarships as well.
There is also another application to receive a scholarship that is open to anyone whether they are going to start school or are already in school. This is $2000 for a 2 year degree and $4000 for a four year degree. There is over $200,000.00 available. The deadline for the Application is February 28th, 2011.
