This past week I took a much needed break and went to Aspen, Colorado to go hiking and biking.
The weather was perfect. 30-40 degrees at night and then 70’s during the day.
The Aspen trees were in full color and the terrain was unreal.
As you can see from the photos, the Rocky Mountains are in God’s country.
I could not stop taking photos of the beautiful scenery all around me.
We hiked various areas: Maroon Bells, Brush Creek Trail, Rio Grand trail and more.
I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed hanging with friends, as well as spending time with my brother Bill who came over from Denver to spend a couple of days with us.
I will definitely be back during the winter to take advantage of the skiing .
