Summer is great time to give your home a new look and here is how you can do it on a tight budget.
Paint is probably the cheapest way to change the look and feel of your home. You can purchase paint for around $20-$25 per gallon and make a drastic change to the area you are redoing. Even if you are only going to paint one or 2 walls to make the change it is very inexpensive and will change the feel.
The first thing to do is go thru the room that you have selected to change and take out all the things that you are not going to keep and get rid of them. This also is going to make the space look bigger as well as making it easier to get the painting done.
Next decide what color you are going to use to paint the walls. Another thought as well is people are accenting their ceilings with color to give it a rich look as well verses staying with ceiling white.
During the summer month’s people are more into light and bright colors as this too will give the room a larger feel when it is completed.
Once the room is done you can work your existing furniture and accessories in as well as adding new pieces to change the feel.
You will be truly amazed at how little money can be spent to give you that new look and feel of a makeover in your home.
